Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

why different values?

Dear Planners,

Plz refer to the picture, my query is, why the value of budgeted hours (in red circle) is different as we multiply the price/unit with budgeted units (showing 8 but actually its 7.5 hours per day calender), as it should be 104x7.5=780 rather than 777

Please answer.

Kashif,

It could be that your decimel settings need reviewing, as it is appears to be rounding up to the near 30mins, similar to what Mike said.

Although by calculation, it comes out at 7.47115 hours!

Other than that, Paul Tobin owes you 52 bucks (technically)   :o)

I believe this value is calculated using the hrs/day factor in Admin preferences menu, not using the activity calendar

Hi Kashif

Probaly because your work pattern is  less than 7.5 but the number has been rounded up in the display.

Check the hours and minutes in your work pattern.

Best regards
