Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Using P 6.2.1, I want to import into the WBS table via excel (to save typing). Anyone know how to do this?  Thanks, Mark

Mark

ok a little late, i have made a guide how to import a wbs iinto Primavera P6, either using the sdk or the xer parser.

the process is rather time consuming but it give a good idea how the database treat the wbs structure.

hope this help.

Mark,

2 methods :-

Excel to Project.xls to P3.1 to P6

or Excel to MS Project (Outlining defines the WBS tree) to P6

Best Regards
