Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello Planner,

CSI Master format is mainly built for Construction stage.

Is there CSI codes to define Pre-Construction activities, such as Consultants selection and appointment, Evaluation and Award, Eng. and Design (Concept, Schematic, DD, CD) , Tendering, Bidding and Award process, Procurement (of contractors), Procurement (of Materials and Equipments ), etc.... as well as Post-construction stage such as testing, commissioning, handing over, snagging, liabilities, etc…

Regards,

Yasser

Hi Rami, Ronald,

I’m using CSI Master Format 2004 in which Div 00 is not there. The first division is 01.

Hi Yasser,

Your dillema is the same as mine since i’m working with a project management company. I use the procurement and contracting requirement from div 00 as a preconstruction Division. I don’t use any division for post contruction because i usually put there testing and commissioning, snagging and demobilization and the rest of the division fall within the construction stages.

Hope this helps you a little bit.

Hello Planners,

What is up?

I didn’t receive any single response from any of you for my question below.

Is the question is too easy or too difficult?
