Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello Experts,

Can any one/ Moderators explain me, what is the basis for the Production rates mentioned on PP? As per MEANS Heavy Construction Cost Data, the Production rates are defined wrt the crew assigned to it. Here what is the basis.

Thanks

Imran,

You have poised the right kind of query,

I was about to ask the same query, if the productivity rate for block work ( thermalite block is given x sq m)what does that mean?)

Is that the productivity of a mason with a helper?

Can you (moderator) explain this? Since generally productivity rate is given for a trade ( for e.g. a mason for block work can complete 100 sq m per day with a helper with him),

Can you give the rates based on the trades,

Thanks,

francis
