Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I expect someone can clearly explain to me with some example on how the lumpsum contract value is been distributed to detailed activities in P3.

the first I suggest to login to this site and be a permanant member, it will help you very much,
in response your query, I can summeraize my comments as follows:
lumpsum contract usually have a price/cost breakdown and this breakdown come in table and define elements of cost of project including engineering, procurement, construction and so on, if bidding be a completted package, it will certinally be in package, based on this table you should develop detailed price and input in P3.
