(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?
(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I recently tried to import a XER file into P6 15.2, and I received the following warning/error message "This file contains resource data, import canceled"
Does anybody know the reason of this message, that I saw for the first time?

I know of a bug using an xml import but not an xer
this has to do with the way that the fininacial periods are set up
This issue has been resolved and the fix has been included as part of the following patch sets:
