Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi

I have a problem with the subtraction of dates within user defined fields to identify the number of days difference between the two dates.

I am looking for a simple answer where the 3rd October - 3rd October = 0 days difference.

However P6 in its own way combines the calendar and time of day to define the calculation and depending upon the time of day in each day of the calculation, I can get a result for the above sum that shows a 1 day difference.

While I accept P6 is strictly correct, has anyone found a workaround to give me the simple answer which ignores the time of day.
