It turns out that you can’t do it in 2007 for 2003 format.

You can only save in the current project version format.

It has something to do with Windows; install Windows XP SP3, or re-install it if already on the PC (I mean, install the OS on top of the current one), it could solve the problem, I had the same kind of troubles recently, and reinstalling Windows made my PC works much better

I know it works on another PC. Someone else showed this to me and I wondered why this doesn’t work on my PC

Tried it. Installed SP2 and it still doesn’t work....

You should install the last available service pack; it works well with SP2

yeah! another bug!

It’s a full standard version and I know that in 2003 it works just fine.

Even when I open a new file it’s disabled.

Do you have the full featured MSP2K, or a demo one?

Is it disabled with any file?

Hi,

I’m using project 2007. I too see no reason that it should be disabled but it is.....

Assaf,

which version of MSP are you using? anyway, this option should be available at any time

I can’t think of any way to automatize it, except writing a macro and storing it in your default project model
