Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi all.

Now this is quite a new one.

I recently retrieved a mpp file from a colleague,
as I was supposed to take his place monitoring
planning on the relevant project.

After loading the project and altering a few
subtelties, (one has it’s marrots)
I switched to VBA in order to add the
usual save Macro to the said project.

I was properly flabbergasted when I realized
I could not find the project in the project explorer
window! The only projects present were Global and
Project1.

As a matter of fact, I started typing the macro in Project1
before I realized my mistake.

I tried to return to the project window and record a macro
in that project
to see where it would land.
No go, I got the following error message
(irrelevant of course Bill will be Gates)
stating
"Macro is not a valid Macro name"
no matter what name I tried to give that Macro!

Anyone encountered that pit?
