Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi y’all,

What I need is an Excel output from MS-Project of the cost by month for each task with the ability to include lots of task information

Any ideas how I do this? I can use the Analyze toolbar but it does not include anything about a task apart from the name,

Peter

Hello,

you can try the great method of copy and paste.

Change the view to "task usage"/"resource usage"( I’m not sure of the name, i’m using a chinese version), then copy the left part - task information to excel, then the right part the cost informaiton.

hope this helps
