Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Using Project 2003. I have to enter a standard resource cost and then apply a daily per diem cost on top of that for a period of time. Eg:

1-31 Jan - £300/day
1-29 Feb - £300/day + £28/day
1-31 Mar - £300/day

I have to differentiate this £28/day cost as an unbillable expense but still need to be recognised as part of the project cost.

What is the easiest way to do this?

Thanks in advance

Dan

Thanks

I’ve had a play around with it and as a workaround have added it as a material cost and loaded the number of units in the resource allocation to equal the number of days that task requires.

If anyone can think of a smarter way of doing it, please let me know.

Using the Cost tab in the Resource Information box you can put in specific costs for certain periods of time as you wanted.
