Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

This is for PP Admin,

It seems that in the last week, lot of posts being deleted, even though they are important.

Like a post in BEST TEXT Thread or PERVASIVE ODBC, its being deleted and many more.

Any clue, whats going on?

Hi Raviraj,

You are right! That really is quite strange; it’s obvious that someone is changing things, but why? All Maxim was asking about was the availability of planning jobs, no need for the moderators to get involved at all.

I’ll drop a quick PM to PP Admin and see what they come up with.

Hi Chris,

So, does it mean somebody apart from MODERATORS are deleting the posts?

And also like I said earlier, there were posts missing from BEST TEXT thread which were not at all innocuous.

Lets watch for few more days.

Hi Raviraj,

I’ve noticed the same thing happening. Possibly some of this might be due to actions by the moderators, but not all of it as some of the posts that disappeared were quite innocuous. What might work is, the next time we spot something like this happening, if we make a note of the thread and the posts in it that have gone missing and send the information in a private message to PP Admin.

That would give them a starting point to try to find out what was happening. What do you think?
