Hi to all,

It looks like a lot of us are proficient in planning.

How about an On-line Planning Olympiad? This is a challenge to all with immeasurable "cojones".

The mechanics can be develop as we progress in sharing our ideas. We will make it only a 2 hours (as a start) marathon session and will be held every four years (same with Olympics). And like any Olympics, there will be a series of competition in between four years.

We will test our skills in different softwares including wanabees (softwares and planners).

As like any Olympics, the ideals is to promote fellowhsip, fraternity of planners, etc.

Only an idea to know who is really the best (softwares and planners) including wanabees.

Cheers,

Reply from sad person

I love my brother planner
Whether he is a planner
A software jockey
An alien because they must also plan on other planets

Thats it Charlie lets not limit this olympiad to our planet lets start the intergalactic planning olympics

What software have they got on delta 4 b

how do they level resources

have they got the same number of fingers for data input

the first step is to plan the successor to the space shuttle

I can see it all now

To plan where no plan has gone before

One small step for planners one giant leap for planning

No!!!!!

I have decided I will not compete cos I cant qualify on account of the fact that planning is not my life its my job and I really love my family and drinking and eating and watching the telly and being a human being and not an extension to a piece of software

exterminate exterminate exterminate

Hi Clive,

I’m sorry you become a sad person.

The on-line planning olympiad is worldwide, not limited in one country, as what olympic should be.

The objective is to promote brotherhood in PP.

Cheers,

charlie

AS YOU THREE GUYS ARE IN THE UAE WHY DONT YOU ALL HAVE A DRINK TOGETHER AND DEVELOP A SOCIAL LIFE.

PLANNING OLYMPICS PERHAPS WE CAN HAVE THE 100 METRES WITH A LAP TOP

OR THE SYNCRONISED (sp) RESOURCE LEVELLING
ALLTHOUGH I DOUBT THE WATER WOULD BE GOOD FOR THE COMPUTERS

OR FREE STYLE PLANNING WHEN WE THROW ALL THE DRAWINGS AWAY AND PLAN NOTHING AT ALL

OR VOLLEY LAP TOP

OR PLANNING DRESSAGE WHERE THE BEST KEY INPUT STYLE IS ASSESSED

THROWING THE LAP TOP (DISCUS)
THROWING THE DESK TOP (HAMMER)
THROWING THE PRINT OUT (JAVELIN)

THIS IS HUGE

A MULTI MILLION INDUSTRY WILL DEVELOP WITH CITIES SCREAMING TO HOST THE EVENT

STOP STOP I AM ALSO AM BECOMING A VERY SAD PERSON

hi,

I like the idea... but how? what’s the criteria? will it be a competition between fields? (i.e. civil works, MEP, power plant, etc.)or it will be general.... I also think 4 years is very long, why not we make it yearly?

regards,

rolyn
