Hi Guys

I am using ASTA 12.5.

I have a task report for a procurement schedule which exports to excel. What I need to do is adapt the report to what my company wants to see. The template came with the software, but I cannot work out how the dates are linked to the activities.

Prep Tender Docs Finish Date, Tender out Start date, Tender in Finish date, etc.. mobilisation duration & Free float, start on site Date

This is going to be in excel with one package/line with the columns representing the activites.

How do I make the table match the activities. Sorry if this is not clear, but I am really frustrated with this software. As a throwaway I would like to add a actual and forecast date for each!

Any thoughts

Andrew

Hi Andrew

With which software are you frustrated?

It seems that you have a vertical list from Asta that you want to change into a horizontal list in excell.

There is a feature in excell that will do this on one click - it ceratinly works in Lotus 123.

Alternatively you can set up a template on a single sheet where you add + cell address in a horizontal format that automatically links to the vertical data.

Best regards
