Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Thanks Mike and thank you for the reply.

As far as my first questio, I was looking to see if anyone is using features, such as Line of Balance, to do things like track and view planned versus actual productivity rates, and then use those projections to take necessary actions.  I would think these type of features would lend themselves very well to the Last Planner System and Lean.

Hi Justin

Welcome to Planning Planet.

I do not undersatnd your first question.

Lean Planning describes a brainstorming session - usually involving post-it notes and red string.

The results can then be transferred to any software.

The Line of Balance - Time Chain add on to v 12 is most welcome - but you have to set things up in task per line mode first.

I last used it on a 500km oil pipe line up the west coast of India and it was very effective.

Best regards
