Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Is anyone on here using Site Porgress? This allows you to update progress in Powerproject via the web. I would be interested in hearing feedback from anyone who is or has used it.

Hi Ian

Are you using task per line mode?

Have you tried setting the reschedule to Link Around Completed tasks?

Best regards

Hi Dave

I use it on three projects and have had great success, saves me a lot of time, the only promlem is site managers progress before the previous task is complete, making the drop line unsure of where to go

Thanks Mike.
I hope you weren’t discouraged by an early prototype. No doubt it has come a long way since then. Remote access to the web is so much better than it used to be as well.

Cheers,

Dave.

Hi Dave

I have never used it although I did buy an early prototype that worked with Task Per Line mode but not very succesfully.

I do remote progress updates from sites by email.

The site fills in a spreadsheet with the activities and the percentage column and email it to me and I just cut and paste into the programme.

Best regards
