Responsible for developing detailed work breakdown structures within Primavera to ensure the efficient and effective monitoring of multi million pound projects. These projects encompass the refurbishment or construction of HV substations to facilitate customer connections and greater load on to the National Grid network as demand increases
- Delivery programmes are fully resourced, coded and cost loaded and include end to end detailed engineering design (primary and secondary), procurement, civil works and M&E installation
- Programmes are developed by working closely with the project team to accurately reflect all required work breakdown structures, logic linked activities, resource and outage requirements
- Once into delivery, liaising closely with Site Managers to monitor progress against the baselined plan, evaluating CPI and SPI and monitoring Earned Value. High-lighting areas of concern or slippage to the Project Managers, identifying potential means of recovery where necessary, and working with the delivery team to ensure the project runs to schedule
- Running scenarios through the programme when required to assist with costing when a Compensation Event may arise due to a change of scope, timescale or system outage availability
Working closely with other delivery teams across the country when coordination of site works is necessary
