Lead Planning Engineer, Tengizchevroil, Tengizchevroil
To develop and implement fully integrated schedule of cross-functional interfaces between engineering, procurement materials & sub-contracts, estimating, cost management, construction & commissioning, safety, quality, finance/accounting, and document control;
To provide oversight to contractors to ensure they provide schedules for the project and monitor schedule progress against the baseline;
To ensure schedule is aligned with scope, BOD, WBS, CBS and contracting strategy;
To validate schedule estimates with benchmark data; develop Basis of Schedule;
To align schedule inputs with cost estimates to support Decision Analysis modeling;
To report EPC progress through activities and deliverables using earned value (EVM), cost and schedule performance indicators CPI & SPI, identify & assist in analysis of project variances, assist in developing corrective actions and coordinate resolution of variances;
Develop and implement planning/schedule development procedure;
Coordinate schedule assurance activities; Support and participate in cost and schedule risk assessments;
Identify, assess and report deviations from the plan; manage impact of change & trends and resulting in re-baselines;
Interface with project team disciplines to update schedule with actual progress against baseline;
Evaluates critical path and identifies critical activities;
Develop Planning and Scheduling section(s) to the Phase 4 PEP;
Conduct and organize working sessions, classes related to planning/schedule development;
Mentor national Project Controls Analyst and Construction Planners.
