Senior Planner / Senior Planning Engineer, SBG - Public Buildings & Airports Division, Airports, Highrise Buildings & Public Buildings
A brief summary of direct responsibilities as a Senior Planning Engineer are as follows:
· To prepare, produce and secure all necessary approval of the Contractual Programme required in the stipulated period following project award using basic information available from Drawings, BOQs & Project Specifications. This will include Engineering, Procurement and Construction Schedules and associated supporting information including technical narratives, manpower, plant and material resource loading data, weight factoring and progress monitoring data.
· To perform follow-up assignments for projects as required, including providing assistance in further programming studies and participation in preparation of Extension of Time claims.
· Prepare the Cash Flow Analysis based on the Construction Schedule.
· Prepare the Manpower Histogram based on the Construction Schedule
· Monitor the Project and Update the Construction Schedule periodically based on the actual progress achieved.
· Revise the Construction Schedule, if found necessary and revise the Manpower Histogram accordingly.
· Prepare revise cash flow considering actual facts related to Incurred Revenue, Cost to Complete (Manpower, Materials, Subcontractors), Surplus Materials on Site (Hidden Cost), Dues from Client, Account Payables etc…
· Study the Tender requirements and prepare Tender Stage Construction Schedule and Tender Stage Cash Flow
· Prepare the manpower Histogram based on the Tender Stage Construction Program.
· To provide all planning services required in the preparation of tenders and proposals, which will generally include all the planning processes and documentation as applicable to those required at project award stage.
· Prepare and submit the Complete Pre-qualification Documents as per the requisite from various clients.
· To assist in providing instruction, training and mentoring related to junior and subordinate staff, and to maintain proficiency in current best-practise planning techniques.
