The main tasks and responsibilities are to evaluate Level-4 Subcontractor’s schedule and resource plan, analyse commodity work load, check the piping area density, and check the work critical path. Primavera v 3.1 is mainly utilized in this almost daily tasks.

PROYEK PENGEMBANGAN GAS SUMBAGSEL PAKET-II & PAKET-III - PT. PERTAMINA EP (MUSI – PAGARDEWA - MERBAU, SUMATERA SELATAN)

It was a multi-area Gas Project that consists of a 175 KM Pipeline from Musi Barat to Pagardewa, Compression Station Benuang, Gathering Station Merbau, Gas Custody Station Pagardewa, and SCADA System.

The general responsibility is to control overall tasks in order to maintain Project Milestones through good preparation, accurate planning, intensive monitoring, comprehensive evaluation, and corrective action. Especially, he was responsible to control progress of time and costs of the construction works and measure indications of the project healthy by developing effective site project reports that express current works performance and the overlook. He monitored all lines of the Project Control tasks in order to maintain subcontractor’s performance, critical drawings availability, engineered material & equipment readiness on-site, progress trends, schedule critical paths, cost & expenses, and regular reports. Conducting inter-department interface and information / data exchange through intensive discussion, meeting and reporting. Communicating and co-ordinating with Home Office Project Control Team for the Construction Status in relation with Engineering and Procurement Status. Other responsibilities are to control project changes and to prepare project close out.

·       Responsible to make any schedule advices, identifying critical area, and finding solving problem. Making schedule risk thresholds in order to get earlier warnings of the some critical conditions that were happening on site construction. Confirming to all related disciplines that everything is alright regarding readiness of all resources (subcontractors, drawings, supervisors, safety, and so on) that are needed to fulfil achievement of CRD (Construction Required Dates). He, by spot checks, made sure directly to the originators any information that was felt unclear. He frequently focused and encouraged Disciplines to push up their progress trend and to avoid delay. He arranged team solutions by involving subcontractors to mitigate impact if the work progress delayed can not be avoided. Advising Site and Project Management of the any foreseen critical project situation and to get their required decision to overcome the obstacles and constraints.
