Worked on East West Gas Pipeline (EWPL) project having 1369 km (48” diameter) trunk line, 572 km Spur lines, 10 Compressor Stations, 38 Mainline Valves, 1414 crossings out of which 11 crossings by HDD/ Micro-tunneling.
Responsibilities:
o Involved in scheduling, monitoring and reporting of Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities of Compressor Stations and Metering and Regulating Stations of East West Gas Pipeline Project.
o Had been deputed to Gulf Interstate Engineering’s (GIE), Engineering Consultant for this Project, Office in Houston, USA for three months to coordinate and expedite Engineering progress, overall planning and scheduling, generating MIS reports, Coordination for review and approval of Engineering Deliverables. Focal point for project and contractual correspondence with GIE.
o Responsible for Certifying Engineering Consultant’s invoices and timesheets and administering the Engineering Contract.
o Coordinating and Planning with the procurement team for timely delivery of project equipment and material.
o Prepared Work Breakdown Structure, Organisation Breakdown Structure, central planning and different level of schedules in Primavera/ MS Project/Excel.
o Established progress reporting mechanism for generation of Project Progress Curves, progress monitoring formats, reporting formats and established effective Managing System and Management Information System.
o Prepared Execution Plan, Monthly progress review with Apex Management.
o Prepared daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for Apex Management information and review.
o Direct, motivate and develop subordinates and getting work done successfully through them. Day to day progress monitoring, preparation of action plan based on front availability and shortfall/ criticality analysis and expediting the pending issues.
