Kindly let me know the Comparison between Primavera (Standard Project Management Tool) and Tilos (Linear Project Management Tool).

 

Looking the below details,

1. How Primavera is best in features when compare to Tilos

2. How Tilos is best in features when compare to Primavera

3. How Tilos is differing with Primavera in features when considering Roads, Bridges, High Rise Building and Pipe Lines Projects.

 

4. Comparing Primavera and Tilos when considering all the industry.

P6 v TILOS

Dear Sheik

This is such a massive question that it's just not possible to provide an quick answer.

If you are engaged in a linear-type project (raod, rail, etc) then a Time-Distance plan is massively superior to loads of Gantt charts - because you see WHERE the work will happen as well as WHEN.

If you don't have a linear-type project then you wouldn't even look at a tool like TILOS.

Rather than re-invent the wheel I'm going to email you a White Paper I wrote for Planning Planet a while ago.

TILOS and P6 can readily exchange information - so it's not necessarily a case of one or the other, but rather being complementary.
