The AECOM Simandou Project is comprised of two principle components: A 650 km-long Trans-Guinean railway to transport iron ore from the mine to the coast. Rio Tinto (RTIO) contracted the engineering services to Fluor as an EPCM contract with AECOM as a sub-consultant.
