The Lower Pieman Dam is a 1.75 million cubic metre concrete faced rock fill dam on the West Cost of Tasmania. In charge of the construction of the dam as the project drew to completion. Commenced as site engineer in charge of the construction of the spillway. Over a period of two years promoted Senior Site Engineer. Responsible for all construction activities, with four engineers and 400 men on site. Gained experience in the following construction activities; roads, bridges, reinforced concrete, slipforming, grouting and bulk earthworks.
