Concrete - Post Tensioning Sequence:

  • Concrete poured 1st Bay.
  • After 48 hrs concrete is stressed to initial strength (15 kN takes 1 day).
  • 5 days after initial stressing, concrete is stressed to final strength (30 kN takes 1 day).
  • Formwork may now be struck and adjacent bay poured.
