Within first month in the organization, reorganized and streamlined database of project management and controls procedures, standards, metrics and performance indicators for this international mining company.

  • In charge of generating, controlling and updating the construction schedules.
    • Developed Project Management Plan. Planned and defined the scope of the project.
    • Created WBS (Work Breakdown Structure). Defined activities. Established the task sequence.
    • Resource estimation. Duration activities estimation. Prepared the schedule. Cost estimation.
    • Identified roles, responsibilities and reporting relationships within the project.
    • Identification, analysis (quantitative and qualitative), tracking and monitoring of trends, deviations and risks of the project.
    • Performance evaluation to determine whether preventive or corrective actions were necessary.
    • Monitored actual physical progress Vs. planned advances. Generation of Physical Progress S-curves.
  • Provided earned value management reports.
  • Prepared cost dashboards, with KPI’s linked to the budget and schedule.
