- Responsible for management of planners and progress control engineers in the team (11 people).
- Set up and implemented project controls processes for Barrick and subcontractor teams to ensure that standards are met.
- Developed a master schedule for the entire program based on bottom up construction schedules and performed regular progress updates.
- Monitored progress on site against program, milestones and production rates and advised on risk of delays. Drove development of mitigation programs that aimed to recover slippages exceeding 2 months.
Assessed progress updates and changes to the program and sent contractual letters to contractors. Developed detailed construction schedules before the appointment of a contractor and set up baselines. Carried out tender evaluations.
