Business Development and Project Management, Monitor Management Control Systems Ltd., IT Implementation and Software Integration
During this period I worked at Monitor with an ERP product called Mpower that was used globally for real time project cost management. It was easily integrated with existing systems and planning tools.
During my time at Monitor I passed my APMP and studied planning and the use of software tools including MS Project and Primavera and risk management.
Also worked with a planning tool for scheduling Maximo (Prior to Maximo offering this as a tool themselves). This allowed you to move tasks in time which would update these in Maximo. Very useful as Maximo was really a list application so visually planning these in a Gantt format was a big improvement.
I worked within the training departement laterally at Monitor providing ECITB training in planning, project controls, quality and project management.
