Responsible for the overall management of ESP (Electrical Submersible Pumps) contracts for all technical, financial, operational, and HSE matters. Full Spectrum of ESP Management includes Design, installation, operation, failure analysis and run life improvement.

Position Dimensions:

●     400 million US$ (Gross) budget

●     Interfaces: PDO Departments (PE, WE, Well Services, Operation, Engineering, HSE, C&P, Finance, etc.), ESP Contractors, rigs, and well services units.

Key Accountabilities:

●     Maximise oil production by improvising ESP run life (40% improvement)

●     Optimise cost by selecting best pumps design

●     Benchmark with other ESP’s operators to share best practices

●     Participate on ESP contract strategy

Accomplishments

●     Managed to bring the total ESP failures in 2005 down by almost 50% compared to 2004 which result in a major cost saving and more oil production.

●     Introduced new PTW (Permit-to-Work) system for ESP Operations

●     Settled disputes worth 70 million US$  with zero impact on PDO

●     Conducted extensive report for ESP performance from 1978-2002 (feed to new ESP contracting strategy).
