JobDescription:

As a Maintenance engineer, oversee and coordinate the workers who maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other building systems. Responsible for evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining what installation or repair services need to be performed.

Hire workers, organize schedules and assign work activity. They may perform training to ensure individuals have all the requisite skills. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing maintenance procedures and maintaining personnel records.

Role and Responsibilities:

CHALAPATHI INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGYwas established in the month of June, 2007. Job Profile:

• Handling turnkey EPC project activities of indigenous projects.
• Execution of assigned projects from proposal to project completion.
• Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirement and related specifications.
• Project design review and kickoff meetings-establishing goals and leading the project team to completion of successful projects.
• Work with internal departments and customers for project award stage, engineering and fabrication stage, contract and construction stage, startup and close out of stage and all financial aspects of the project.
• Review project plans and proposals, and then work with management to develop project objectives. Identify project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project. Calculate time frames and sequences the stages of the project.
• Overall execution, planning of project, cost management, scope management and site management.
• Responsible for exchange of bulk drawings with customer and internal departments.
• Identify, track and manage all changes in the scope of work, schedule and execution methodology on the projects.
• Attend the weekly project review progress meetings (internal as well as with client) and prepare the minutes of meetings (MOM).

• Coordinate free issue materials by the client and assists in the logistics, its shipment, receipt and safe storage at site.
• Container requirement estimation and calculation
• Interactions with client for payment collection(Advance & progressive as per terms of payments)
• Creation of sales order. Raise purchase request for bought out items placement of orders.
• Single point coordination and project management with Design Dept, Purchase, Process, Manufacturing, QCD, Excise & Shipping department.
• Coordinating and arranging third party inspection at works or vendor’s works. Inspection arrangements for the ready structures at site and getting clearance certificate for the inspected items form inspector.
• Co-ordination with shipping/freight forwarding agents for the custom clearance of export goods.
• Process payments for inspection agencies, vendor services during erection and freight forwarding agencies.
• Also dealing with spare parts projects by individually.
• Follow up the implementation of lessons learned and ensures that lessons learned on the project are prepared and documented in data base.
• Adhere to company safety standard and promote safety culture among colleagues across the company.
