After I finished my Basic Quantity Surveying Course, I started handling the succeeding classes/batches of said basic course in parallel with continuation of my studies in the higher quantity surveying courses. In these QS courses, we studied the basics of contracting and quantity surveying, FIDIC, ICE, JCT, NEC and local contracts utilized in the Philippines such as CIAP, UAP and DPWH. Later on, I took up an upgrade course in the new editions of the FIDIC Contracts. Further, as part of my Continuing Professional Development while teaching at the academy, I managed to complete additional postgraduate courses in Construction Contract Administration Master Course (including topics on CSI Project Resource Manual, MasterFormat/UniFormat, AIA, EJCDC and AGC contracts), Cost Engineering, Project Portfolio Management/Project Management Office (PPM/PMO), and Highway Engineering.
