- Developing project master schedule and ensuring a baseline is in place for progress tracking.
- Monitoring and accurate update of progress, while tracking schedule changes and communicating same to the project team.
- Creating work breakdown structure (WBS) and projects schedules as per contract requirements, making inputs to the project management plan.
- Monthly review and update of schedule from accurate progress update gathered from site, flagging issues and corrective actions.
- Preparing progress measurement sheet (PMS) and value of work done (VoWD) sheet for progress and cost tracking.
- Revising the construction schedule to incorporate the recovery plan (mitigation plan) in line with agreed strategy when there is schedule slippage.
- Preparing daily, weekly & monthly progress reports and look-ahead plans.
- Highlighting issues captured from critical path method (CPM) schedule review/critical path analysis and proposing corrective action.
- Creating s-curves and manpower histogram for effective progress tracking.
- Ensuring all schedule changes and trend analyses are clearly documented for lessons learned.
- Communicating seamlessly with project team members; project manager, cost controller and field engineers.
- Attending client progress review meetings, preparing and issuing the minutes of meeting for information and follow-up actions.
- Tracking the completed project milestones & submitting invoices for payment.
- Managing a Junior Planner (and subcontractor planners) on the project.
