Las Bambas comprises a 140,000 tpd copper concentrator and associated infrastructure. The project is located in Peru approximately 70 km SW of Cusco and at 4,300 masl.

My mayor job duties are the following;

-  Support the PCM in cost related issues.

-  Interface with the Client.

-  Supervise and assist the Cost team in their daily duties

-  Revision of Quantity Unit Rate Report and the Cost-Commitment, Weekly and Monthly Reports.

-  Control Advance Fund Requests and Invoicing.

-  Monitor / Control / Maintain budgets and Cash Flow of the Project.

-  Interface with Bechtel regarding the Financial Reporting.      

-  Conduct personnel performance reviews, the cost team is made up of 25 employees.

-  Control Contractors invoicing and performance.

-  Monitor staffing plan (Directs & Indirect).

-  Prepare and monitor Trends along with the Trend team.

-  Control Indirect Costs.

-  Revision and Control of the Monthly Estimate-At-Complete Report.

Significant Achievement: Lead a team of 25 employees in a Bechtel environment.
