  • Establishing, reviewing, amending and managing planning policies and procedures;
  • Training of staff in the policies and procedures, and the principles behind the company’s approach to planning and scheduling ;
  • Tender Planning (schedules, method statements and slide presentations);
  • Working with contract operational staff to ensure that the necessary schedules are in place, are compiled in accordance with company principles, policies and procedures, and have consistency;
  • Reviewing schedule progress updates with contract operational staff, including reviewing logic amendments required arising from updates, to produce a progress summary for discussion with the Contracts Manager and submission to the Contracts Director;
  • Working with contract operational staff in the development of EOT schedules (Delay/ Compensation Events) and consistency in the approach to EOT programme submissions; and
  • Detail planning/ scheduling/ reporting on site as and when required to assist projects in special need, primarily using Candy PM software and Primavera v6.7.
