Research qualified contractor to execute specific works, negotiate terms and conditions include competitive price, prepare change order for services purchased and equipment rent,monitor contractor performance during execution phase, verify claims and recommend for payment.Estimate costs for ship repair and conversion enquiries, submit quotation to client, follow up with client’s feedback. Distribute scope of repair works to ship repair manager and production team, attend kick-off meeting with client, initiate project in ERP system. Attend daily VSCC meeting, work closely with ship repair manager and production team to monitor ongoing repair works. Advise client on variation works, prepare cost estimate for variation orders, submit and negotiate quotation for client's approval.Submit budgetary update to client in accordance with actual costs of work done and estimate to complete. Discuss project costs with commercial manager prior settlement with client, submit draft invoice to client and negotiate for final settlement.Submit cost report to finance, perform project close out, assist finance to claim progress payment from client.
