In the capacity of the Planning Engineer, I have been delivering the following tasks by leading Project Planning & Control in multiple projects. I solely handle key issues when necessary. - Develop, monitor and update project level master Schedules.
- Prepare, update and track materials and technical submittals Schedule.
- Prepare the man power histograms and progress s curve for the major activities.
- Compile and prepare monthly progress report of the project for submission to present the status, progress, problems encountered or anticipated covering all aspect of the project. This includes design, procurement, construction, quality, safety and project schedule.
- Supervise and coordinate the preparation of cost/time impact studies in variations.
- Prepare the field design changes and Trend Notices and assess time impact, if any
- Regular visits to project sites to validate whether the progress of work on site is in compliance with approved schedules, major milestones have been met and report deficiencies to Construction Manager.
- Preparation of daily, Weekly and Monthly report for Main Contractor as per their requirement.
- Advise the Construction Manager of any foreseen slippage of progress and corrective actions to be taken
- Preparation of Notification of Entitlement to an Interim Extension of Time and detailed Particulars.
- Identifying the best series of events in the correct order for the project to finish on time and on budget
- Measure project performance with the help of Earned Value Techniques.
- Producing visual aids to help explain the schedule of work, including bar charts and network diagrams
- Monitoring the progress of the project at different stages of its development
- Attended weekly progress meetings with the stakeholders and prepared the minutes.
- Preparation of Management review meeting presentation which includes Area of concern, Material issues, resource requirements, further cost to complete, etc.
- Preparation and monitoring of detailed T&C schedule for the project.
- Monitoring Cost incurred of Materials/equipment’s, overheads and Manpower against JCA provisions
- Preparation of Progress ‘S’ curve planned vs. actual.
