Job Description: (Site Engineer) Civil/Structure Dept

§  In charge of supervision and design of the soil investigation program, supervision of the construction of substation prefab Building.

§  Monitored the associated survey works for construction of buildings & bench marks for main and secondary roads, as well as for the runway and helipad for helicopter. Responsible for quality & QA procedures on all earth works, concrete works (including admixtures, asphalt pavement works, and erection of 12 structural steel buildings (warehouse 42x42 m.) car workshop, mechanical workshop instrumentation and electrical maintenance workshop.

§  Inspected the installation of central HVAC and raised floors at computerized control room building - As well as fire and smoke detector systems and their associated works, since it was an anti-explosion building.

§  Supervised and inspected the erection of Hallon fire fighting system - Supervision of the delivery & erection of kitchen equipment for 140 persons (per international standards & code of practice).

§  Supervised and inspected supply & drainage system network construction, (pipes-manholes-septic tanks-cesspools). He was involved in Coordination of works among various parties involved (Bechtel- London    /French contractor/ British inspectors / telecommunication Canadian contractor / Egyptian consultants & Contractors).
