Position: Senior QS/Cost Control Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

Ÿ  Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the project team.

Ÿ  Undertaking cost analysis for the ongoing expenses of the project.

Ÿ  Assisting in establishing a client's requirements in terms of legal contracts & payments.

Ÿ  Performing risk, Earn value management and cost control.

Ÿ  Monitoring of budget, financial status, client payments, subcontractor payments & contracts scope of works.

Ÿ  Handled claims & variation management.

Ÿ  Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed & visual progress reports of the project.

Ÿ  Prepare client interim payments and review & evaluate completed subcontractor monthly progress payments.

Ÿ  Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use.

Ÿ  Prepare Extension of time (EOT) calculation if any approved by the client/consultant.

Ÿ  Team lead the QS department to review & prepare the calculation of Variation Order Request to the Client/Consultant.

Ÿ  Review the subcontractor Claims & variations order request before submitting to the Client/Consultant.

Ÿ  In charge of monitoring, managing & implementation of Subcontractor contracts.

Ÿ  Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.

Ÿ  Ensure that business commercial processes are adhered to at project level.

Ÿ  Assist in preparation and adherence to project purchasing targeting and costing budgets.

Ÿ  Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.

Ÿ  Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecast.

Ÿ  Prepare Cost comparison & analyses of subcontractor quotations.

Ÿ  Assist the Contract Manager of any correspondence required to the Client/Consultant.

Ÿ  Project Estidama coordinator & Construction Environmental Plan representative of the project.
