Senior Planning Engineet, BAM Nuttall, Borders Railway

START Date:
July, 2012
END Date:
April, 2014

I worked on the £300m Borders Railway Project for 22 months as part of the Project Team managing the Detailed Design / Construction Phase.  I was principally employed on compiling and maintaining an integrated design and pre-construction programme from information collected from four separate design consultancies.

I also assisted in compiling the periodic progress reports for the client Network Rail which consisted of a detailed programme commentary highlighting programme progress, slippage, delay, mitigation and a full set of commercial data output from the Primavera Programme indicating cost of work to date, earned value and forecast outturn costs.   I have also been involved in the tender planning and compilation for the main Borders Railway Project and the advanced works such as Mining Remediation, Mandatory Accommodation Works and Civil Ground Investigation.
