Senior Consultant

Supported major clients (e.g. Stock Exchange, mining companies, financial services, government, retail) with performance management of IT and automated business processes, major upgrades to mainframe systems, competency development of staff, mentored and trained client and internal staff, and proposed, sold and supported (delivered) projects for these serivces for clients.

Provided training as a side activity when time allowed, but mostly was involved in planning and managing projects for clients.  Often the majority of teh resources and stakeholders were on the client side, and my role was to plan and manage the project and quality assure results, and reconcile cost and scheduel overruns.

 This work covered Southern Africa, not only South Africa.
