System Software Analyst

Worked on multiple projects - proposed, planned, deisgned, managed, controlled and delivered to support and upgrade mainframe and PC systems for the company.

These included selection, implementation and deployment of the first online transation process systems to H/O and branches for core business, as well as new rate book calculation and quoattaion systems, the selection and deployment of desktop system throughout the company, and regular maintenance and upgrade of all system software.

Managed team of developers and administrators and provided support for all software, scheduled mainframe time for departments and offices, managed machine and systems performance, and helped design IT Strategy and best practices. Provided computer and automation support for all investment and actuarial related computer systems.

Analysed performance problems and time over-runs in scheduled slots and reported back on costs and cnsequences, with recommendatiosn for improvements.
