               Detailed Job Description:

               Planning Engineer

               UPNSTP, Barangay UP Diliman , Quezon City

               Office / Field Works:

Ø  Ensure the implementation of the quality plans and objectives of the department and the project.

Ø  Prepares construction schedule of the project and transmit it o the Project Manager / Project-in-charge to assure awareness of the field personnel concerned.

Ø  Perform tasks in accordance with the process defined in the company’s QEHSMS manual.

Ø  Prepares Monthly Narrative Report that illustrates the history and development of the project.

Ø  Perform Design / Procurement Tracking that affect projects performance.

Ø  Create Baseline Master Contract Programme, including resource allocation based on project contractual requirement using Primavera.

Ø  Analyzes all contract data, establishes well-defined work activities  and creates a comprehensive, properly linked CPM schedule, in coordination with project manager and project director.

Ø  Prepare schematic drawings and site reticulation plans.

Ø  Inspects the project site and coordinates schedule impacts with the project management and team members.

Ø  Facilitate weekly schedule & progress review meetings to discuss Safety-Quality-Time-Cost issues and action plans.

Ø  Analyze project status by determining critical path, driving activities, and project bottlenecks.

Ø  Create and analyze what-if scenarios with cost and time implications.

Ø  Provide accomplishment report and 4 weeks look-ahead schedule.

Ø   Provide, manage, and support project claims thru Time Impact Analysis

Ø  Evaluate, Generate and issue Project Accomplishment Reports for management points of view.

Ø  Provide Project Diagnostics like Earned Value Analysis and Critical Path Method.

Implement Tracking and Controls Procedure, Plan-Synchronize-Tracking-Analyze-Reports.
