►     Saudi International Petrochemical Company - SIPCHEM, Various Downstream/Petrochemical Projects, Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, 2005 to 2008

Senior Project Controls Director. The company launched several downstream/petrochemical projects: ethylene vinyl acetate plant, low density polyethylene plant, ethyl acetate plant, butyl acetate plant, vinyl acetate monomer plant, acetic acid plant and cross linkable polyethylene chemical plant. SIPCHEM assembled an international team to manage all projects and our responsibility was to set up and lead the project management office. Responsible for managing engineering, project controls, and project management activities for a front end development phase, including FEED, and leading to the execution of the project. Developed and implemented a performance measurement system for the engineering, procurement, and construction of the petrochemicals plants. Managed all aspects of project controls, including planning, cost controls, estimating, procurement, and financial reporting. Integrated SIPCHEM’s accounting system with project WBS, enabling the system to produce real time status reports.
