for failure investigation with deep knowledge of API,ANSI standards, and monitor the execution of machinery
reliability activities.
3-Review annual requirements prepared by subordinates for spare parts and materials
for equipment overhauls, generate and technical evaluation of the purchase orders of
the spare parts and advise stock levels for spares based on equipment history
and the technical judgment.
4-Plan and supervise the implementation of predictive, preventive, corrective maintenance,
participate in shutdown (GRSD) Planning, material preparation and implementation.
Participate in preparation of Shutdown reports. Review and update work performance
procedures to ensure proper and safe Implementation.
5-Actively participate in the preparation of budget to meet operating requirements and
also for the capital jobs. Review technical evaluation of bids pertaining to direct budget
purchase requisitions, and selection of the contractors for different specific disciplines
and supervises their activities on the plant.
6-Implementjob safety analysis, Risk assessments safe working methods, Permit to work
(PTW)Systems, Lock out/Tag out (LOTO) procedures and all HSE policies, procedures,
rules, and to enforce the implementation of the Company’s Health policy.

systems as follows: Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance for all rotating and stationary
Equipment's (Siemens Gas Turbine V64.3, diesel generators, centrifugal pumps, positive
Displacemet pumps, Reciprocating Compressors, Submersed Pumps Screw Pumps, Reciprocating Pumps,
Motors, Heat Exchangers,Tanks, Cranes and Lifting equipment, fired Heaters.
2-Identifies particular problems areas and assess the effectiveness of current procedures for handling
the problems promptly and efficiently. diagnose faults analyze malfunctions and break-downs and
recommend necessary Modification to avoid reoccurrence of faults.
3-Commissioning start up and acceptance test for all the 6 boilers; 4 HRSGs and 2 Gas & Oil fired

Troubleshooting, preventive/predictive maintenance , repairs and major overhauling activities.
2-Monitor reliability and availability of all mechanical equipment and ensure compliance with corporate
targets.
3- Have full operation responsibility of the gas turbine-compressor station and power house to
ensure adequate system/procedures are in place for safe and reliable operation and maintenance
of the station.
4- Provide daily activities report , technical reports & engineering proposals fo upgrading and
modification of old equipment.
5-Organize the available resources for optimum utilization and determine the need for re-
organization.
6-Prepare operating budget and ensure tight control to minimize variation between expenditure and
budget.
6-Apply reliability-based maintenance strategy.
7-Order, follow up and reviewing material requests for different maintenance programs and
overhauls to manage cost reduction.
8-Carry out root cause and Failure analysis to improve reliability and MTBF of mechanical
equipment.

1-Responsibilities incorporated operation and maintenance Feed study, detail engineering, Design, for all
rotating equipment and its support systems of gas plant (350 MMSCFD), Solar gas turbine (T4500, T4500,
Saturn, Mars T1500) - compressors station (160MMSCFD) , power station(7.5 MW) in additional to utilities
equipment and gas compression station equipment including electrical and instrumentation equipment,
Pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
2-Supervise all operation activities and produce daily operation report for gas plant and compressors
station, preparing Spare Parts Required for all maintenance Programs (Preventive, Predictive,
Breakdown, & Major Overhauls) and following up with materials department. ensuring safe operation
of equipment by Committing to best maintenance practices.
3-Carryout commissioning activities, start up and Site acceptance tests of gas turbine- compressor
packages and accessories, train subordinate technicians on the use of new tools e.g. laser alignment
and in-situ balancing tools.
4-Carry out predictive maintenance and conditions monitoring for rotating equipment such as oil, vibration
and performance analysis, and solve vibration problems , via ( data acquisition and data analysis ).
Troubleshoot and repair Allen-Bradley plc5/15 turbo-tronic control system. Carry out multi-discipline tasks
of on the job training in Mech., Elect., I/C and operation disciplines for the parts in gas compression station,
and Pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
5-Modify the internal cooling air distribution system of transfer booster pump motor 1.4 MW ($2MM saving).
Modified leak off bush design of water injection WEIR pump to eliminate rapid repeated wear out
(Increased oil production by 18000 BPD).
6-Modified Borg Warner double mechanical seal design (increased MTBF form 11 months to 16 months)
Led a multi-discipline team to identify critical equipment spare parts and reduce stock items ( $8MM saving)
Increase mean time between overhauls of solar centaur gas turbine form 50K running hours to 75 k by using
reliability-based maintenance strategy.
7-Developed a new evaluation criteria for contract bidders to consider both of technical and commercial scores
in the final score. Modified buffer gas seal system of solar centrifugal gas compressors C160K, C334 and
C338 (overcame system depressurize to flare after shutdown and reduced start up time).
