·         Resource Constrained Scheduling Techniques for Multiple Projects

Formulating a suitable solution for scheduling problems through a mathematical model for the Large-scale companies (Turnover >INR 5000 Cr.) which is always a complication prevailing in scheduling multiple projects i.e. profit center for the company, bagged by them for the particular period with the available resources like labor, materials and plant.

1)       Ananthara Doha Island Resort ( Project Value : 1.5 Billion QAR)

Complete development Including Marine Piling, Breakwater, Quay walls, Reclamation, Jetty works, Pontoon works, Architectural Buildings and other works required for the project as described below:.

•      Located   approximately   11km   east   of   Doha   City. Total area of Banana Island is estimated at 129,000m2 (12.9ha) with approximately 1,100m in length and 117m in width. The project designs, constructs, develops and operates a 5-star island resort property that requires huge quantum of marine works and leveling & preparation for the construction.

•      Ananthara Doha Island Resort & Spa is based on a totally self-sufficient luxury resort concept along the perimeter of the island captivating with the scenic sea view. It comprises the construction of 117 keys and associated services comprising the following elements: Over water villas - 11 keys, Chalets - 34 keys, Hotel Blocks-72 keys, Family blocks and Back of House, Spa, Water sport pavilion, Wellness center, Kids adventure center, Tide pool and Conservation center, Beach Club House, and Activity Areas like the Lookout Restaurant, Dive Center, Surf Pools, Artificial Reefs, Entertainment Areas and the Marina for more than 50 luxury boats. There are also Support Infrastructures such as Desalination Plant, Sewage Treatment Plant, Waste Management, Staff Facilities and Landscaping.

 

2)       The Base Harbour and its Branch and Main Navigational Channel

- Design and Build Project (Project Value : 670 Million QAR)

Excavation and reclamation works for a new Navy Coast Guard Base situated in Sumaisima.  The Project involves the excavation to a level of -7m QND for a Harbour Basin of area 800m by 400m and an 80m wide, 10km long Navigational Channel.The materials arising from the 5 million m3 of excavation are utilized to reclaim the area for the future Navy Base landslide facilities and two islands that will be utilized for future leisure and tourist facilities.

Project value:  1.3 Billion QAR

 

·         Involved in executing the Power Line Engineering Project, Qatar  - a complete design and build for the project

·         Collaborating with the Project Manager in planning control and contracts management and facilitating in making important decisions

·         Involved in overall planning & project controlling activities, establishing Baseline and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), preparing Weightage chart, cost control reports.
