Access & Planning Manager, Thales Rail Signaling, TBTC

My main duties include:

  • Team manager for a team of Access Planners tasked with delivering all access requirements for the Jubilee and Northern Line Upgrade Projects for the Transmission Based Train Control contract on behalf of Thales’ client, Tube Lines
  • Interpret the contractual requirements and develop processes in order to meet these requirements in the most effective manner.
  • Ensuring all submissions are made in a timely fashion and within the constraints as detailed in the contract.
  • Planning and review of all mainline closure submissions, sidings/depot possessions & published documentations.
  • Validating & keeping track of costs associated with protection bookings.
  • Submission of Engineering Hour’s works access in accordance with both the client’s Access Planning and Contractual requirements.
  • Represent Thales at regular client meetings.
  • Motivating a team of access planners in order to deliver the most effective means of meeting Thales’ contractual obligations.
  • Mentor and develop team members.
  • Preparing daily workloads for all team members and allocation of activities.
