Working with M/s. Dragon Offshore Industries LLC, Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates as a Senior Controls Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of Contractual Program of Works.

Preparation of Project Control System under various disciplines.
Preparation of Weekly / Monthly Progress Reports.
Preparation of Look-Ahead Schedules.

Project Involved:
• Re-Build of a Cantilever Jack-Up type offshore drilling rig (USD125 million) for M/s. THULE Drilling ASA at Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, UAE. The drilling unit consists of an almost triangular pontoon shaped hull, three open truss legs and three rack and pinion type elevating systems. It is equipped with permanent accommodation for 105 persons on board, a helicopter deck suitable for the use of an S61N helicopter and a retractable cantilever carrying the drilling derrick.
• Engineering Planning and Project Management of The Phoenix 300 Cantilever Jack-Up type offshore drilling rig x 2 Nos., for M/s. IRANIAN OFFSHORE ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION COMPANY (IOEC), designed for operation in water depths of up to 300 feet. Outfitted with modern drilling and service support packages, the unit can drill to depths of 30,000 feet.
• Re-build and refurbishment of SHAHID MODARRESS OFFSHORE DRILLING RIG to DNV class with cantilever conversion and additional modifications on the hull, legs, helideck and jack-house (USD69 million) for M/s. NATIONAL IRANIAN DRILLING COMPANY (NIDC) - at Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, UAE. It is equipped with permanent accommodation for 98 persons on board, a helicopter deck suitable for the use of an S61N helicopter. Designed for operation in water depths of up to 275 feet. Outfitted with modern drilling and service support packages, the unit can drill to depths of 20,000 feet.
• Manufacturing of Sub-sea Equipments such as BOP Elevators, BOP Carriers, Splash Zone Guides and X-Mass Tree Carrier, Deck Cranes and Riser Gantry Crane (USD 8 million for New Build Semi Submergible Rigs) for M/s. PATRIOT MECHANICAL HANDLING Inc. United Kingdom.
• Construction of Accommodation Modules (20 Men & 40 Men – 450T Steel Works) (USD 7 million) for M/s. NARDIS, Foroozan offshore Complex Renovation & Reconstruction Project.
• Foroozan Project – Structural Upgrading, Retrofit & Rehabilitation Works (Euro 14 million) of Wellhead, Process and Living Quarter Platforms for M/s. NARDIS.
• Leg Repairs and Refurbishment Mat Tanks, Jacking System, Electrical and Instrumentation Works of Rig AL VAND, to DNV class (USD30 million) for M/s. NATIONAL IRANIAN DRILLING COMPANY (NIDC) - at Dry Docks World, Dubai, UAE. It is equipped with permanent accommodation for 100 persons on board, a helicopter deck suitable for the use of an S61N helicopter. Designed for operation in water depths of up to 275 feet. Outfitted with modern drilling and service support packages, the unit can drill to depths of 20,000 feet.
II) From March 2004 to March 2006:
Worked with M/s. Granite Construction Company, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates as a Planning Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of contractual program of works under multi project environment.
Manpower / equipment projections.
Preparation of progress monitoring system using in-house PMS software.
Preparation of daily / weekly / monthly progress reports.
Preparation of look-ahead schedules / turn around schedules.
Projects involved:
• Construction of Sulphur Recovery Unit (US$ 19 million) for M/s. TAKREER at Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning of 400kV / 132kV Grid Station (US$ 75 million) for M/s. Arabian Power Corporation (APC) / Toshiba at Umm Al Nar, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Construction of 400kV / 220kV Sub Station (US$ 8.45 million) for M/s. ADWEA / ETA at Remah & Gayathy, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Replacement of TB2 with new SPM Loading Facilities (US$ 1.2 million) for M/s. ADMA / NPCC at Das Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Harbor Sheet Piles & Paint Works (US$ 1.46 million) for M/s. ADMA at Das Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

III) From March 2000 to Feb 2004:
Worked with M/s. Ceebros Hotels Private Limited, Chennai, India as a Planning Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of detailed baseline plan and monitoring multi-storied residential apartments and commercial complexes.
Allocating resources, cost analysis and attending weekly meetings for the project review.
Quality control of various concrete grades supplied by Ready Mix Concrete plants.

• Seven storied Residential Apartments (US$11.70m) for M/s. Ceebros Gardens, Chennai, India.
• Four storied Commercial Complex (US$4.20m) for M/s. Ceebros Property Developments, Chennai, India.

IV) From Aug 1997 to Feb 2000:
Worked with M/s. Zelleco Engineering SDN BHD, Malaysia as a Design Engineer.
