 - SR 45,000,000  project.  Construction for expansion of school buildings including site development works running tracks, roads, water supply, sewerage system, parking shade, boundary wall.

 

Planning/ Scheduling Responsibilities:

n  Created work breakdown structure (WBS) and developed and maintained  schedules by communication with the relevant Project Team using Primavera P6

n  Prepared the project engineering Schedules forlarge & small EPC projects .

n  Identifying critical paths for the project using critical path method

n  Monitored the schedule for all phases of the project, analysing deviations from the planned, analysing deviations impact and recommending corrective actions

n  Worked closely with all engineering and progress disciplines in order to take their buy-in for the project reports

n  Prepared schedule progress reports bi weekly and uploaded the budgeted man hours to P6 to have better track of the budget.

n  Reviewed the logic of the activities in P6 and making sure that these logics are correct as per Single Deliverable Flow Chart (SDFC)

n  Prepared cost reports which reflected committed cost, incurred cost, estimate to complete, budget at completion and estimate at completion.

n  Updated the milestone chart bi weekly and compared it with the baseline and last month to have better track of the milestone target dates

n  Participated in HAZOP and Model Reviews

n  Investigated schedule and cost issues, their impact on project and coordinated it with the project leads and PM to take decision on time

n  Coordinated with accounting and finance sections regarding invoice payments

n  Performed Earned Value Analysis and presenting data to the project manager and client in terms of CPI (Cost Performance Index) and SPI (Schedule Performance Index)

n  Developed schedules for engineering, procurement and construction activities by communicating with relevant discipline leads .

n  Attended public meeting, council and related meetings and assisted in the presentation of project information

n  Inspected activities during construction, prepared punch lists which described work to be done and helped in material requirement calculations
