Head of Planning and Progress Control, reporting directly to the VP Group Project Management, with representatives from each Division and Business Unit of Bombardier Transportation (BT) in a dotted-line network.  The purpose of the Planning and Progress Control function is to develop planning, scheduling and progress control competences across BT, using a newly created process which aims to standardise the way this work is carried out across all projects. In addition, the function is working to define career paths in BT for Planners and Schedulers, defining the skills required, and assessing development needs in this area across the company. The function also provides on-site support to critical projects in the area of planning, scheduling and progress control, and consultancy within the company in these areas as required.ress control, and consultancy within the company in these areas as required,
