FIELD PLANNING ENGINEER (OFFSHORE/ONSHORE)

Provide supportand advice to the management as to necessary materials, resources, equipment, construction methods/techniques/statements, and planning for the properand on-time implementation of all project’soffshore/onshore activities andworks;

Provide support to the management regarding the proper operation and management of the project’s Temporary Jetty, marine vessels/barge traffic, and project’s Jetty Control Office; 

Responsible for the planning and preparation of daily maneuvering plans/schedules of marine equipment (tugboats, flat barges, setting barges, crane barge, crew boats) in accordance with the project daily offshore construction plan/activities as well as the real-time monitoring, marine traffic management, and proper recordings of such maneuvering plans;

Coordinate with other project teams/vendors/subcontractors regarding their respective activities to achieve primarily the proper implementation of offshore construction activities;

Prepare weekly/monthly reports to the managementregarding the operation, utilization, and maintenance of the project’stemporary jetty and marine vessels/equipment;

Assist the management in  the monitoring and compliance to UAE laws/guidelines of all project’s marine equipment as to registry, class, permits/licenses, relevant certificates, and other documents;

Initiate and/or conductcoordination meetings with project vendors, sub-contractors concerning implementationand contractual problems/issues of the project; and,

Perform other tasks/works as required or as may be instructed by the Marine Team Manager for theproper implementation of the project.
